Highlights (Photo Ops)

Highlights in Episode Prompto become available after your first clear of the Episode. When you play the Episode again you will be able to take Highlights (the dlcs version of photo ops) There are ten photo ops in all with four of them being completely missable.

There are two Highlights located in the first facility that Prompto goes through. You must get them before leaving the facility since you can not return.

Oh, My Ebony!

The first Highlight you will come across in a second playthrough will be this one. This one is right in front of the first save point you encounter.

I’m a Kenny’s Kid!

The second one can be found right before you escape the first Facility. This one becomes available after killing Verstael. Once you make your way to the next area where the snowmobile is, go down the stairs and into the little area on the east side of the map. Look for a Kenny the Crow statue on the ground.

Leap of Faith

The next one you can do is on the way down the mountain while you’re riding the snowmobile. When you come to the big rock where you make the jump with the snowmobile slow down on the way up to find this highlight. Just be careful of the Mechs firing missiles at you as you may get knocked of the snowmobile which can be difficult to get back on.

Gone Fishin’

This one is one that must be done before Aranea joins your party. After she joins you this one becomes unavailable. This one is right at the edge of the lake, close to the nearby camp.

A Fireside Chat

This one can be found after Aranea joins you. Simply go back to the campsite to find this photo op next to the camp fire.

My Furry Friend

This one is near the lake in the area where you fight the Kaiser Behemoth. Look for this photo op near the edge of the area, a bit southwest from the weapons shack

New King in Town

This one has a prerequisite. You must first kill the Kaiser Behemoth. The next day after killing him (you can either go back to camp to speed this up or do sidequests through out the day/night) go back to the area where you killed him and look for this photo op in the middle of the area.

Hold on Tight!

This photo op is available as you are heading to the last facility. Aranea must be with you and must be on the snowmobile to get this one. Right outside the area you’ll find this photo op.

The Beauty of Teamwork

This one is another with a prerequisite. This one takes place in the large room right before the hallway to Barbarus, where you fight all the Magitek soldiers and Defense Nodes. To get this one to appear you MUST perform a Link Strike with Aranea on the upper level of the area. This one is missable since if you don’t do a link strike while all the enemies are up you can’t get it to appear.
