I’ve always been into the details of Final Fantasy XV. Even before the Windows Edition. If you know me from my Tumblr blog, you know I take pictures of everything in the game. Items, characters, clothing, foods, enemies, weapons, environments….you name it.

I’ve always taken pride in my Tumblr blog. In all the stuff I have on it. I’ve used it many times to pull things up, to check things, etc. Most things are easy to find through the search. I’ve always wanted to do something more though.

If I could have my way I would make an entire site dedicated to the game. An archive of all the stuff I’ve accumulated, neatly categorized. All the outfits, all the consumable items, all the enemies, etc. Since I can’t do that though I figured I could do something else.

I thought, I can either make a site and focus on a few things from the game, or I can focus on my favorite character from the game and try to put together everything I have come across in the game about them.

Over the past two years, Prompto has become a character that is very near and dear to me. Never have I found a character so relatable, so real. His backstory in Episode Prompto was heartbreaking. His episode in Brotherhood so relatable as someone who has lost a lot of weight myself. His inner struggles and insecurities hitting so close to home. He instantly grew on me and became my favorite character in the game.

So here you have LOKTON. Named after Prompto’s beloved camera. I felt it was a suitable name given the fact that I take so many pictures in the game.

I made this site for myself. It was something I wanted to do. I didn’t do it to get attention or for anyone else. It’s my little labor of love for my favorite fictional character. Thank you Square Enix, Hajime Tabata, Tetsuya Nomura, and everyone involved with Final Fantasy XV for giving us such relatable, lovable characters.
